The food is delicious and comes out very promptly. On top of all that, Paul (The owner/operator) is super easy to work with! Highly recommend this truck for pretty much any event.
We ordered from the food truck. We had three different pizzas and the garlic bread—all of which we rated “very delicious.” The sauce and thin crust are lovely. We all clapped for and devoured the cannolis.
Pretty poor service at the food truck today, while parked at Aegir. My wife placed an online order for a few cannolis and sent me to pick them up. When I got to the truck I stepped up to the pick up window. The woman stared at me until I explained that I was there for a pick up order. She replied with “name?” and so I explained it was my wife and gave her the name. I then watched as she was obviously struggling to find the order on the order screen. She then just stopped looking and began filling other customer orders as they came off the hot roller (cannolis are served cold). I watched for a couple minutes because I figured maybe she just needed to grab something off quickly and then would get my order, but then it became obvious she was ignoring me because she started looking deep into the roller for more orders to take off. So I spoke up and I said “I’m just here for three cannolis,” which prompted another woman in the truck (who was standing right by the window talking to a third woman in the truck, including making a joke about the previous customer) said “oh, the cannolis.” As she then handed them to me she told me they were confused when the cannolis were ready and no one was there (I was on my way) and made sure to tell me she texted my wife about it. I hope the cannolis are good, and the food I watched be prepared for others looked good, but the way I was treated leaves me uninterested in trying them again.
We enjoyed some of their good food while we were at Aegir brewing, it was delicious!
Thank you for making us food at Glencoe Days even after you had just closed... it was delicious and very much appreciated!
