Visited by accident for breakfast only just realised. Good breakfast nice and hot. fast friendly service. Quiet on arrival but very busy when we left. Was a bit dark in there but all round a nice visit.

Excellent Service, All Meals Good Value and cooked to perfection with the option of a drink included at a reasonable price, Perfectly Cooked Fish, Chips and Peas.

Stopped here for a drink in their beer garden. As with all Spoons, great value for money. Shame the beer garden was littered with half eaten plates of food and empty glasses on many tables. We were there nearly an hour and only saw one person start to clear glasses just as we were leaving.

We visited our Grandaughter in Uni last night and stayed in the Premier Inn nearby. The breakfast offered at the PI was good but not for my specific health condition. We went to the local Weatherspoon instead. The building, like most Weatherspoons was characterful and best of all open at 8am. I ordered individual items for my breakfast whilst my husband had the tradional 'fry up ' plus coffee 's for both of us. The bill came to £8+. The cooked food was well cooked and a reasonable quality. The staff were helpful and v pleasant. What else could we want to sustain us on a long onward journey!

One if the best Wetherspoon pubs in the country especially if you are a real ale drinker. This superbly managed spoons has great friendly, knowledge and professional employees who make all welcome. The real ale selection is exceptionally good and extremely well kept, the pub as a good range of ciders and lagers together with a very vast collection of wines and spirits. The pub is a little tired in terms of decor and could benefit from a refurbishment Highly recommended by me
