This cozy pub has ample seating and serves good food. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be returning for more. Plus, the restaurant is also very dog-friendly.

Booked a table for 8 people for my birthday a week in advance only to be told on arrival the restaurant was full, so we were put in the lounge area where the table was not adequate for all of us, we had to sit...at 2 separate tables, the menu is very limited and extremely over priced

A family group of 6 went to celebrate a 90th birthday. The booking was efficient and Laura, who was on duty that day, went over and above what she needed to do to make the occasion special.

I read the previous review and was very surprised as we had the opposite experience.Staff were really friendly.The food was very tasty.My husband had pie mash and peas followed by lemon meringue and I had cheese and ham sandwich.The food was delicious.We also had two...lime and sodas and a pint.The bill was just shy of £27.For someone to call it overpriced is crazy.If you want a friendly atmosphere with home cooked food this is ideal.
