Vesuvius Woodfired Pizzeria

Ordered takeaway pizza & Garlic bread was told half an hour wait, which is fine wood fire pizza takes a little longer then the cardboard the major pizza places sell. After 45 minutes we were told they will be making ours next and sorry we are busy, I said understand busy but don't tell us it will be half an hour. An hour later when we finally get our order and drive 3 minutes home, the garlic bread was cold, Now the pizza was it worth the wait, no! base was tasteless & rubber, hardly any topping, the major pizzas taste better. Need to lift their came big time.

Authentic pizza bases wood fired, and fresh authentic handmade pasta in simply the best sauces! I cannot wait to visit again, truly wholesome satisfying food. Don't forget to take your wine with you to top off the perfect meal!

Tried the "Mexican" which is meant to have pepperoni but clearly no pepperoni to be seen, just cheap processed saussage. We also got the "Napoli" which was equally as disappointing. I get the Pizza home after a 5 minute drive and both are cold, soggy, wet base and look terrible. Have they even cooked them? Who knows as I've had to put them BOTH in the oven to make them edible. I understand that you can't expect much from this end of the Central Coast but come on, domino's would do a better job.Never would recommend them, never would try again and don't even want to eat it.Ohh and cash only? BS! What a fraudulent businesses you guys are running.

Decor is nothing special. Great for an informal quick bite though. Gourmet pizzas are fantastic. If you don't mind dated decor and less than comfortable seating, this place is worth a visit to try the pizzas.

This is the 3rd time we have had Vesuvius, i have been so impress ed d with the food they produce. We have changed our order on each visit and evertime they have produced the goods. This is now our regular pizza night stop.
