Subway - Charlottetown

I tried one of the new rice bowls at Subway and I wasn't sure what to expect. There are 4 options and I chose the chicken teriyaki. The rice was heated before being placed in the bowl, and it was topped with fresh vegetables and warm chicken and sauce. Although it was tasty and nicely presented, I was disappointed to find that the chicken was processed. Subway now offers subs with freshly sliced turkey and chicken, so it was disappointing to see processed meat in this dish. I will try the Steak version next time in hopes of better quality meat.

I have always been a fan of Subway. They offer a variety of fresh bread and crunchy vegetables, with many sub options to choose from. This particular location is clean and modern, with efficient and friendly staff. My only complaint is the way they toast their subs. It's not like Quiznos! Quiznos manages to crisp up their subs while keeping them soft. The sub I had at Subway tonight was overly toasted, to the point where I felt like I was eating a piece of cardboard. I will definitely be skipping the toasting next time.

I always liked Subway. It is fresh and you can see that it is prepared before you. the problem with writing a review for every fast food restaurant is the staff. These people get paid minimum wage and are in a grateful job. So... you'll find all kinds of personalities. Some who are only naturally friendly and some who are not. You could go to the same place 5 times and get 5 different service levels. Therefore, any review can only be based on the quality obtained on that day. This visit was good. The crew member was polite and did his job. The food was fresh as usual. Restaurant and bathroom were clean.

This used to be the best Subway in Charlottetown. Always clean and there was a tall red headed vegetarian working there. He made the best sandwiches and really understood what vegetarians and vegans do and do not eat. Yesterday the place was filthy and the...new guy put mayo on my sandwich.

Located in the heart of town on the Avenue, this restaurant is easily accessible with plenty of parking. The food is delicious and the staff is friendly, making it a great spot to dine in or take your meal to go. You can enjoy your food at Victoria Park by the waterfront or in the park across the street. They offer a variety of sandwiches and tasty cookies for dessert. Don't forget to try their combo for a satisfying meal.
