Maid Marion's - Charlottetown

We had a club sandwich with fries and the Tuesday special, hot chicken sandwich, and a hamburger. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent!

When you go to Maid's, as it is called locally, if you arrive around lunch or supper time, be prepared to wait for a bit. Maid's is a local favourite known for its friendly, fast service and its daily special that usually land between $8 - $10. These specials include your beverage of choice between coffee, tea, or soft drink (Coke products). The food arrives fast, hot and a large serving! It is your typical basic family food restaurant. The breatfast menu is available all day ... the strawberry waffles are amazing! I have been taking my 'kids' there for close to 30 years.

Great selection of comfort food. Popular with the locals likely because of economical prices. Have had slow or inattentive service on a couple occasions. Is there anything more important than keeping your coffee filled at breakfast?

Service is quick and the portions are pretty large but this restaurant is not gluten free or gluten friendly. They do offer all day breakfast which is all right but there are no gluten free options on the menu. The menu is very limited to basically sandwiches (hot and cold) and daily specials. While in Charlottetown I desperately wanted a salad as a side for my meal but that wasn't an option at Maid Marion's. It would be a great place to eat if you don't have issues with gluten.

This restaurant has amazing meals at a reasonable price, you will never leave this place hungry. The staff there are efficient and in no time you have your meal. Will definitely be back there.
