Rhett's River Grill And Raw

They did not have my reservation on file. Fish and chips was mediocre. Coconut shrimp was over cooked. Bar did not know how to make a mojito. Charlottesville is a great restaurant town but this just didn't measure up. Don't think I'll be back.

I brought my family here for Easter brunch and had a phenomenal experience. The food and service were exceptional. If you're debating about it, just go ahead and order the crab cakes! We sat on the porch outside, enjoyed our time, and didn't feel rushed, even on Easter Sunday! However, Rhett's is actually not using OpenTable for reservations. They use yelp, I believe. So when we arrived, we were one of many families who's reservation was not on the books Sunday afternoon. Rhett himself came out, apologized, and then did everything he could to make our reservation an overall positive experience. I would absolutely recommend going to Rhett's, they took great care of us! Just don't book through OpenTable.

Place is Awesome but not on your Network which put them in a bide when we showed up with no actual reservation, they made it work in style. OpenTable needs to get their act together!!

Unfortunately they don't except opentable reservations. Only use yelp to take a reservation. Go figure.

Had dinner with friends for Rhetts customer appreciation week. The service was good, although the server did forget to bring my appetizer when he brought the other two. The grilled oysters were delicious. I had the shrimp and grits. It was tasty but the shrimp still had the tails on. Since it was in a sauce, it was messy to eat the shrimp. I had the bourbon pecan pie for dessert, but wasn't thrilled with it. I have eaten at Rhetts many times. This week just wasn't my favorite. I should have ordered off the regular menu instead of the fixed menu.
