Public Fish & Oyster - Charlottesville

The restaurant was conveniently located for us and the menu looked good. When we arrived they had no way to check a reservation and didn't have a table ready for us. It took about 15 minutes for someone to even greet our table, so we could already decide on our dinner when a server spoke to us for the first time. It then took another 25 to 30 minutes for our dinner to arrive. We had a Caesar Salad, Slider and Lobster Mac and Cheese and I wouldn't order anything more. The beer was good and it seemed a fun place. There was live music which was really good but the whole place was so loud that it was impossible to talk to.

We had a good time, the seafood cooking is the best thing on the menu. Didn't really enjoy the starters. We will definitely be cooking for the seafood, great flavor, big portion and reasonable price.
