Kung Fu Tea - Charlottesville

The tea here is fantastic, and the staff is incredibly friendly. My family is hooked on Kung Fu Tea, particularly the Peach Oolong made with black tea (and boba) and the Winter Melon Green tea. We really make an effort to visit at least 2-3 times a week for our tea fix. It’s absolutely delicious!

The parking situation is quite chaotic, particularly when trying to back out. The staff could be a bit more welcoming, and I was taken aback by the extra charge for boba—I've never encountered that at other tea shops. On the positive side, the tea is tasty, especially the honey milk black tea and the mango strawberry drink.

I’m thrilled to see them open! The boba tea is fantastic, and the owners and staff are wonderful. I’m really happy to have a place like this in our area.

I have consistently had a great experience every time I visit this restaurant. The atmosphere is inviting, with TVs and board games available for entertainment. I appreciate the option to customize the sugar level in my drink. The food was delightful as well, but it was a bit strange that I could only pay with cash or Venmo, especially since credit and debit cards are accepted for drinks.

I waited in line for an hour for tea on opening day, and it was absolutely worth it! I can’t believe it took Charlottesville so long to get a bubble tea shop!
