The food was fantastic, and the portions were generous. The server was incredibly friendly and attentive. Our dishes didn’t stick around for long, especially since the place was bustling with activity. Everything was excellent! I also tried the Alaska roll, which paired nicely with soy sauce. The vegetables and broccoli were also delightful.

I had the chicken hibachi, and it was truly fantastic. It came with a small salad and a clear soup as appetizers. I really enjoyed the soup; I've had something similar before, but this one was far better. The chicken hibachi was the star of the meal—delicious, with flavorful vegetables and rice that wasn’t greasy. The chicken itself was tender and juicy. The dining area is small, and by 8 PM on a Friday night, it was bustling, with nearly every table occupied and plenty of takeout orders. Despite the busy atmosphere, my food came out quickly, and my server was attentive, even though he was the only staff member on the floor. I’ll definitely be back!

The food was outstanding. It's clear why they are so popular. The miso soup was remarkable, and the salad with ginger dressing was superb. I absolutely loved the yum yum sauce. Their sushi is better than anything else in Charlottesville, except maybe Ten, and it's offered at a much more reasonable price. We enjoyed a shrimp tempura roll, a spicy tuna roll, chicken hibachi, and filet hibachi.

All I had was an order of her pig dumplings and it was delicious. Can't talk to one of the other foods, but as far as appetizers go, I recommend the pig dumplings.

Cozy with great service, they do a great job with a very traditional sushi menu. There are some funky rolls. Don’t expect gourmet fancy new age omíkase or rotating fish specials. The menu is 99% static. And they do each item very well. Great miso! Leo ate 10 bowls one night.
