Great Harvest Bread Cafe

This place is a true paradise! From the moment you step inside, you're welcomed by the delightful scent of fresh bread and pastries. We're thrilled to have discovered this gem. We've tried a good variety of items from their menu, and we honestly can't pick our favorites. The muffins are moist and rich, topped with a perfect crunchy sugar glaze. The brownies are indulgent, and the bread is hearty and flavorful, far superior to generic store-bought loaves. The owner is incredibly friendly and passionate about baking, sharing her knowledge with everyone. We can't wait to return for more delicious treats. Thank you for baking with love!

We enjoyed our first visit to the Great Harvest Bread Company. The owner was friendly enough to make us four sandwiches just before closing. We have 3 of the classic sandwiches and 1 signature sandwich. We tried the cured tuna salad, ham and cheese, turkey and cheese and roast. Two were bread on the Dakota, one on white, and one on honey wheat. I couldn't resist putting half a dozen stuffing rolls on order. I enjoyed both sandwiches I tried half the turkey and half the tuna. Both were on the Dakota bread, from which I am a big fan. We bought it on the city market together with a laib of their cinnamon chip (highly recommended for French toast). I couldn't taste the ham and cheese or the roast beef. The guys ate that fast and certainly not offer to share. It will be hard to choose which sandwich on our return trip, so many good options! One thing is certain, I have to hurry and order stuffing rolls for Thanksgiving, along with a pumpkin roll for my husband. When cookies and cakes tempt you, there are also many of them.

I absolutely love the staff at this restaurant. They are local and genuinely care about our community. Plus, the bread, biscuits, granola, and so much more are simply excellent!

What a fantastic spot for delicious bread and other delightful treats! The owner is incredibly knowledgeable about various baked goods and truly has a passion for baking. There’s something for everyone, from sandwiches to pastries to irresistibly tasty treats. I've visited several times and have never been disappointed!

We stopped by over the weekend to check out Great Harvest's selection of local honeys. I had seen recently on NextDoor that they carry a few. If I remember correctly, they had wildflower, clover, thistle, and maybe another one or two. The price was comparable to other local honey. My husband ordered a morning glory muffin, which he thought was delicious. In the past at Great Harvest in Herndon and Vienna (Northern VA) we get a loaf of the apple scrapple, but it looks like they don't have it at this location, which is a little bit of a bummer. But the service was great, and I guess that just means we should try other ones!
