I had high expectations since I've previously stayed at other Graduate brand properties that offered excellent service. Unfortunately, this location felt more like a neglected hotel that had been superficially renovated rather than undergoing the extensive updates it truly needs. I checked in but ended up checking out just three hours later, following the advice of friends and family, as I started feeling quite unwell. I suspect it was due to the air conditioning or possibly mold, as I experienced swollen eyes, congestion, and body aches.

We reserved two rooms and received confirmation from the hotel. However, when we arrived, they informed us that there were no rooms available. Over 15 guests faced the same frustrating situation in the lobby, and we all ended up waiting for hours because there was only one person working at the front desk. Traveling with children made it even more challenging, and we couldn’t find accommodations at another hotel until 11 PM. We are at a loss for words to express the lack of respect we encountered. Positive: Great location. The decor of the rooms was eclectic with vintage pictures and retro furniture, kind of fun but may not be everyone's cup of tea. Negative: $18/might parking charge but perhaps understandable given it is right near VU and parking around any major university is always a problem.

Great staff, particularly Matthew and Patrick. Hotel has a great rooftop. However, rooms are tired and could do with thicker doors and walls (for better soundproofing). The third floor is also in front of the parking lot and some of my family reported having headlights flash into their room into the early hours. The property needs investment to match the calibre of care provided by the staff and to justify the prices.
