The Q Shack - Charlotte

My fiancé and I stopped here on a wim and they did not disappoint. Amazing brisket, and the best fried okra ever!! Hush puppies are very good as well. Super affordable for the amount of food you get. And let’s not forget the amazing deviled eggs!!!

Stopped in for a quick lunch and tried this place just having seen it driving by (no research). Man, we both had brisket with a few sides and we left very happy! Prices are good for bbq and everything came out super quick yet super fresh. Definitely ranks up there for good bbq but also the service was friendly, place was clean, and was just a nice experience.

The Q Shack is my favorite BBQ spot in Charlotte! We've always enjoyed dining there for family lunches, but they truly exceeded our expectations at a wedding we recently attended! The food was incredible, and the catering manager and her team were absolutely fantastic! We’ve already recommended them to our friends who are engaged, and we plan to use their catering services in the future. ❤️

If you're planning a special event, like a wedding or a large gathering, I wholeheartedly recommend reaching out to Daniese and Barry at Q Shack. They catered my wedding, and I was overwhelmed by the number of compliments I received about the food I chose. Guests raved about the beef brisket, pulled pork, mac and cheese, and potato salad. The service they provided at my wedding was exceptional— deserving of 6 stars instead of just 5. They treated everyone with such care and attention. I am incredibly grateful to have met them and to have hired them for my special day. Choose Q Shack!

How is this a 4.5 star establishment?? Yeah, the meat was tender, nice smoke flavor, the staff was nice, and service was quick.. Outside of the smoke, the meat lacked flavor, the bbq sauce was water thin, and was just meh in flavor. The Cole slaw and hush puppies were good,, the baked beans tasted like a can of pintos sitting in a bath of their sauce,, uninspiring.. The price was reasonable, but not enough to make it a 4 star, 3.5 tops...
