I had the wings, rice and peas w/plantains and it was so good. If your by Harris Teaters stop by Don’s Jamaican Kitchen in the parking lot for lunch. You will not regret it!!! The food is amazing!!

The worst I ever had the lemon pepper chicken was chewy not even seasoned the macaroni was oily not even cheesy the corn tasted sour straight out of a can the fries was over seasoned!! Wasted my money.

The Don's Kitchen is serving up Bougie Soul Food in Charlotte. My friends and I linked up today to check out Chef Don whip up some of his popular platters!Since I'm a seafood lover I enjoyed the Deep Fried Crab Legs, Deep Fried Lobsters Tails and Lemon Pepper Shrimp! These dishes are filled with flavor and loaded with seasoning! Ask for extra garlic butter drizzle too!For my Friends tried the Honey Gold, Strawberry Hennessy and Lemon Pepper Wings! The platters include two sides so add Trap Corn and the MAC! Just trust me 10/10!!!! I could eat the corn with any meal.He also prepared Honey Gold Turkey Leg Strawberry Hennessy Turkey Legs which were both tender and fell right off the bone!Now my overall favorite has to be the LEMON PEPPER Fish Platter with Vegan Baked Beans Potato Salad.Then we quenched our thirst with the Rainbow Lemonade! Very refreshing and not too sweet! This is a must try restaurant located in the City Kitchen!

Honestly as a whole it was really unorganized and confusing. We waited for about an hour in uncertainty if our food was still available from the time we had ordered it (which it’s QR codes only that tell you sold out or not) with no formal worker informing us of anything including the availability of what was still available or sold out. It was really hard to get any actual or credible information from the window attendant(who was later undermined for giving false information). So overall not really a good experience but I’ll hope my food can make up for the service ?.

Came from Jersey and it was SO worth it. I immediately fell in love with the food. The portions are also great. He was also very welcoming. If you are in the area, definitely try it. Best food I’ve had!!!!!
