The food was very delicious and the service was friendly and professional. Many vegetarian options. Our only problem (and the only reason we don't give it five stars) is how much more expensive it was from our last visit? More than we remember? even the vegetable dishes. Nevertheless, if you have a taste for fine Indian food, it would be hard to find better in Charlotte!
The dishes did not have many meat options, but they were very tasty. The staff was busy at a certain point and friendly. The garlic NAN was very good. The restaurant was beautiful and colorful. It's a darker light setting. The kids enjoyed the food. Get the lamb dogs! Cooked!
The food was very delicious! We had Chicken Tikka Masala, Tandoori Lamb, Reis, Naan and Mango Lassi. Everything was just so good. The service was also great and the restaurant has a cute decor. My friend enjoyed the food and it was her first time with Indian cuisine. She said she would definitely come back. This is my second time at The Blue Taj and will not be my last.
Really tasty food and the ambience was really nice. Definitely try the Chicken Methi Curry! Servers were friendly as well. My only suggestion for the owner is to attach felt pads to the bottom of the chairs so whenever patrons or servers slide the chairs out they don?t cause such a loud noise.
A family favorite and last evenings chef was one of the best meals ever there!
