We have been going here for years and we love it! The food is always outstanding! No matter what you order you can expect fresh ingredients and great flavor. It is nice to support a local restaurant instead of a national chain. We are looking forward to our next meal at Thai 1st.
I went to this place yesterday to celebrate my birthday. Thai is one of my favorite foods so I was excited to try a new restaurant on my birthday. So I dressed up in a dress and wore heels. We got there at 4pm the start of dinner. We were the first people to arrive. When we got there, it was very unwelcoming. I've never experienced anything like it. We had to order our food and pay for it before we were seated. We couldn't even sit down, relax and enjoy the moment and just simply look over the menu like all other restaurants that allow inside seating. I felt rushed, confused and extremely uncomfortable. The woman taking our order got smart with my daughter-in-law because she asked a simple question about this practice. If it wasn't for my family, I would have left and found somewhere else to eat. They didn't even have hot sake. It was the most uncomfortable meal I've ever had and I will never ever go back there again or recommend it to anyone. And she had the nerve to give us the Square iPad requesting a tip after payment. Tips are based off of the service you receive. Customer service is everything and this ruined my birthday dinner with my family. And this is how they treat their customers walking in the door. Now I understand why there were that many people there. We did leave afterward to go to Red Sake which is everything this place is not. It was very nice with friendly staff. We just had drinks and dessert but the drink list is long and the desserts are so delicious! I wish I knew about it prior to going to Thai 1st Bistro. But you live and you learn.
Very good Thai food as I've traveled to Thailand and eaten the local fare. The prices have gone up for lunch because of temporary inflation and supply chain issues.
It was pretty good, I liked that they had the fresh veggies cut thinly on the side instead of just mixing them in. It added a fresh crunch to it both dishes did not have a heavy oil feeling to them! They did have some extra furniture in the dining area which seemed to be a temporary situation that made it a bit unpleasant to look at. Otherwise the service was nice, and place pretty clean!
