Taqueria Los Altos - Charlotte

I can't believe I've been living for 10 minutes by Taqueria Los Altos for years and have just discovered this place. The food is excellent, great service, nice people. It's a 'seat down and get on the table' type place, but not imagination. The service is friendly and fast. I had a burrito and it was delicious. I recommend!

Had Carne Taco plate. A fairly large amount and the server was friendly and the food came quite fast. Food tastes good. Rice was a little bland, but the hot sauce was good. I don't often go to Charlotte, but when I get back to town, I'm probably going back. I recommend it.

I'm here twice with my husband. We dropped once and we ran an order yesterday. 5 stars because the Quesa Birria and alcoholic drinks are excellent! It was hot, fresh and carefully done. The waitress was kind and patiently given to me that I could not pronounce some of the names of the dishes AND I ordered almost a similar dish that I didn't want me to still learn. She also raised me like I'm going forward the right dish I appreciated. The prices seem high to some, but I have learned how to make Quesa Birria that seems like a contemporary process. It is more than just meat and ingredients together in a tacos, so the price makes sense with all things considered. I'll be back soon.

This place is tucked away in the corner but I urge you not to not to disregard it! The meat here is incredibly flavorful and tender. I ordered a pollo taco, carne asada taco, an al pastor taco, and a birria taco with a side of rice and beans. All of it tasted freshly made. It had a perfect balance of seasoning and the meat was cooked just right. Not over cooked, tender and juicy. I highly recommend for anyone who enjoys authentic tacos ?
