Tabla Indian - Charlotte

This Indian restaurant offers a pleasant atmosphere and a friendly staff. The parota was store-bought but tasty, and the Chicken 65 was juicy. The shrimp Masala was also good. Although I would consider exploring other Indian restaurants nearby before returning, I appreciated the nice decorations, including miniature tabla and other beautiful items that added to the decor.

Have tried many Indian restaurants in Charlotte and this is by FAR the best one! Food is so delicious and service was wonderful! My mother makes the best authentic Indian food and I still enjoyed it here, even with my high standards. Love how clean it was as well.

We really enjoyed the food at Tabla and had a fantastic experience with their lunch thalis on two different occasions. The thalis are large and filled with delicious food, as shown in the photos. Each thali includes soup, a choice of appetizer (samosa or tandoori chicken), naan, a selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, papad, and a dessert. We decided to add on the biriyani for an extra charge, and it was a wonderful meal with plenty of leftovers to take home. The boneless chicken biriyani was outstanding, but the goat biriyani tended to be a bit dry.

Great authentic Indian food! I'm vegan and they have vegan options to accommodate my needs. The service is good too. I'm not sure what bad experiences everyone else is complaining about, but my server named Ratheesh has been very kind and welcoming to me! Thank you for the service and amazing food here. Namaste..

The food was amazing! I got the lamb curry and fish masala. They were both seasoned and spiced to perfection. We also got samosas and they were hot and fresh! Def order a mango lassi or yogurt if your spice tolerance is low like me The spice is so worth it though!
