Sunflower Family - Charlotte

Firstly, I haven't spent just $21 for two people in ages! I thought it must have been a mistake, especially considering how great the food was. The restaurant has a cozy, basement diner vibe, but the quality of the food, the service, and the price more than made up for the ambiance. We ordered whiting, eggs, and grits, as well as a salmon cake with eggs and grits topped with cheese, plus two Arnold Palmers, and our total came to just $21! Everything tasted fantastic! I left feeling stuffed and satisfied, and I will definitely be returning!

The staff here is incredibly friendly! You can really tell that the food is made with care. The grits were fantastic, and both the pork chops and fish were excellent! We've definitely found our new go-to breakfast spot!

A "must-visit" every time I'm in Charlotte! The homestyle atmosphere and the taste of home-cooked meals are wonderful. And the grits here are the best I've ever had!

This place is phenomenal! Parking spaces are very tight and limited, however the service and food is well worth developing the will to come and experience this family-friendly, homemade southern cuisine and atmosphere. Everyone on staff is very humble, polite, and willing to serve. Even the owners are heavily evolved in service and conservation. We highly recommend that if you decide not to dine-in, definitely order something to go. We look forward to seeing more growth and prosperity from this establishment.

Searching for a local breakfast place near my delivery and ran into this spot. There was parking across the street for my 18 wheeler and one review stood out from the many 5stars, it said: best breakfast in the WORLD! And by gosh that was all i needed to read. Went in. Kept it simple. 2 eggs over medium, hashbrowns and bacon with side of biscuits. And let me tell you. the review was 100% correct. IT IS THE BEST BREAKFAST IN THE WORLD!! Definitely making it a regular spot for breakfast when am in the area. Owner just needs to make sure he can work something out with the parking across the street so truck drivers can park while they dine.
