As a NY native, from the Bronx, I was in pizza joints everywhere trying to find everything that comes close. Shelsea comes closest to everything I tried in the area. It's just the best tasting pizza around and reminds me of pizza from NY. The Mexican dishes were also well and generously cut. Service was excellent and the waitress was very attentive and nice. It'll be back.
Listen to me? The staff was friendly, the service was good and the food? 10/10. I ordered the chicken Alfredo with broccoli and there was definitely the Itis. I'm super picky when it comes to my pasta, but they nailed it!
You don't have to sell Italian cuisine... her menu is so mixed around ..es is almost impossible to keep everything fresh. Mexican and Italian food online place..sounds almost like a case of a Gordon Ramsay show.. Anyway, my family usually came only for their carne asada pizza. Mexican flavors are hard to find here. Mostly the only place she has in Los Angeles. After the pandemic, I believe that they began to add more and more food options that the food quality simply went on the hill. I ordered my ordinary carne asada pizza. First time since shutdown. the pizza was bland and they made it as usual. The sauce was different, the beats were different. I then ordered Ceviche... For 1 tostada...is 18 bucks!!!!???? This is crazy considering that you don't even pay it at a cevichería nearby.... It was extremely salted and they put shrimps in them... Could you swore the menu, said fish... this is definitely and allergy to my waiting to happen. I hope things can turn around here... the place always seems empty... their health inspection was just fine. Overall, I would not recommend going if they were down and perfect a few main dishes instead of a whole smorgasbord of options...
The best pizza I've had for years. I had three big slices that filled me up. I live in Canada and have found restaurants here that try not to increase prices, but the quality has suffered. It was also the best pizza I had in Charlotte. Best value.
I like to support small and try small restaurants. The pizza was good, but the sweet sauce kind of put me off. That?s more MY preference than their lack of cooking skills because the pizza was still delicious!!!! And huge for a medium! She said the lemonade was $5 and I almost choked. We don?t drink soda and they don?t have tea so we had waters. No issue (I?m pregnant so I drink water anyway! All in all, I?d come back for the pizza ? Our waitress was polite, but seemed a little standoffish.I think by observing, that?s just how SHE is??? . We still tipped because she was attentive and very sweet to my son. Somewhat of a language barrier. But not to where we couldn?t understand one another! The place is super clean, no one had masks on, but that?s fine with me! Just saying in case it isn?t for someone else!
