Roy's Kitchen Patio - Charlotte

I visited Roy's for the first time recently, and although there were some issues with my order, I was treated very kindly when I followed up the next day. A staff member answered my call and was extremely apologetic, even though they were closed at the time. He invited me to come back the next day to have my order corrected (I got half of the red ice cream series with two pages) and offered me a refund. The customer service here really exceeded my expectations, and I will definitely return. If you haven't been, I highly recommend checking it out—great food and friendly staff!

That was delicious! I just wish I had known it was brunch on Sunday, or I would have made plans to come.

We called in our order while searching for parking, and I was able to go inside to pick it up as our food was being prepared. The restaurant has ample seating inside and outside, with a lovely small bar area and plenty of tables for larger groups. At the back, there's a large bar and an even bigger terrace, both vibrant and beautifully decorated. I highly recommend this place—10/10!

Roy has already been one on my to-do list, so when I got a chance to offer something for a casual date night, it was a simple choice. we came on Tuesday at 845 and it was completely empty. we sat and waited quite fast: when we tried to order the rum punch, we were told that no alcohol was available except the sangria, a few weine and beer. we chose the sangria and which was not too bad from the choice (even if it was the only one.) I ordered the salt fish fritters as an appetizer. they were delicious. they come with a diving sauce that only made the taste more pop. I ordered the oxtails and I must say that they were delicate, juicy and tasty. in any case was an amazing dinner. next time I come back, I hope I can get the rum punch.

Nice caribbean vibe here!! ?The food is fresh, well portioned, and the service quick and servers friendly! I love the decor. This place is great for groups and date night too. It's in the busier part of town. Very scenic and good for people watching. Right next to Haberdish!
