We are big fans of Ethiopian cuisine and used to have a restaurant in our Boston neighborhood that we frequented at least once a week. Many of our old favorites were on the menu, and the spices were absolutely perfect. The Injera was outstanding as well. We've been to places where the Injera didn’t seem traditional, but this was excellent and definitely authentic. I did make one ordering mistake: I had never seen shrimp on an Ethiopian menu before, so I ordered it, but it was a little dry. That's on me for trying something unexpected; I should have stuck with the dishes I know and love! The vegetable dishes were incredible, and the spiciness of the food was just right—not too spicy but perfectly flavorful. The meats were tender and delicious. Everything was truly wonderful. Plus, I love that they offer Tej by the bottle. Our server was friendly, and overall, the experience was excellent, aside from the unusually long wait between ordering and receiving our meal. I understand that cooking food to order takes time, but this wait exceeded what we consider a normal timeframe for dinner service. We will definitely return, though—it’s possible they were just short-staffed in the kitchen that day.
It was a wonderful dining experience! We ordered one of the sharing platters, and there was an enormous amount of food for just two people—we were both completely full. Our server was attentive and friendly, and the food was served hot and incredibly tasty! I highly recommend giving it a try!
The vegetarian plate has been significantly improved since the previous review on February 6, 2022.

It would have been a five-star rating if it weren't for the unusually long wait between ordering and receiving our food. I understand that cooking made-to-order takes time, but this exceeded what we expected for a reasonable wait for dinner. We will definitely return, and it’s possible they were just short-staffed in the kitchen that day.
This review is long overdue. I've been driving past this restaurant for a while and had been eager to try it. On Wednesday, December 21, 2022, I decided to use Uber Eats for dinner. I ordered the fish tibsi (whiting fish), beef sambusa, and cheesecake, and they provided a generous amount of injera as well. The tibsi was accompanied by two vegetables, and the sambusas were packed with meat. I ended up with plenty of leftovers for the next day. It was a satisfying meal after a long day at work. The next time I'm in the mood for Ethiopian food, I will definitely consider ordering again or dining in.
