My family and I have been going here for 20 years Best sushi we’ve had in the US. Jackie is hands down the best sushi chef and you can find him in a little shopping center in Matthews, NC of all places. We get a massive order of sushi every Christmas Eve (it’s a family tradition now). Don’t bother going anywhere else unless it’s for convenience. If you want the best sushi you’ve ever tasted, head down to New Zealand Cafe

A friend recommended this place to me a long time ago, we finally went, it was packed for a Monday afternoon and we still got a seat super fast, the attention was first class, all the team was super helpful and really kind and friendly, I didn't have time to take a picture of the first dish (we were starving) that was some tempura shrimp veggies and I could barely took another one of the lol I would like to say that we abuse with the amount of food we order but I don't regret anything! Everything was cooked perfectly, crunchy, juicy, many sauces to dip in, balanced dishes with enough protein, carbs and vegetables like just amazing

Great prices. Great food. Great service. A great little hideaway for sushi.

Sushi was fresh and very tasty. My waiter made wonderful recommendations.
