Hardee's - Charlotte

Hardee's has been a staple at this location since the 1980s. It's a fantastic spot for breakfast, whether you choose to dine in or grab your food to go. Their biscuits and gravy are unbeatable; no other fast-food chain even comes close. If you want something similar, you'll need to either hunt down a real diner or make them fresh at home.

The hamburger was quite tasty. I arrived a bit after 10:30 am, and I noticed that the lunch and dinner items were already on display, but the cashier informed me that lunch wouldn't begin until 11:00 am. However, the person at the drive-thru suggested I go ahead and order the hamburger anyway. That's definitely a smart way to run a successful business. If I had seen the breakfast menu, I probably would have opted for breakfast instead.

This is the only place open after 9 PM on a Sunday night, and it's drive-thru only. It took quite a while to receive my order, but I appreciated that it was freshly cooked, which is a plus. I ordered a triple bacon burger since my doctor said I was in good health at my last checkup. The food was hot and tasty, but it's definitely not healthy!
