Flying Biscuit Café Park Road

Absolutely love this place; it has become a regular favorite for my friends and me. The menu is big and creative enough that we never get tired. The service is fantastic, especially James he is the man! A good value in an entertaining environment of one of the best breakfast places in Charlotte.

We ordered almost $300 catering order for an event. After picking up the order and the event we were greeted with a ton of sticky pancake SYRUP all in the bottom board of our vehicle! Not to mention the other catering order. After trying to find out what happened, we noticed that someone thought it was a great idea to put liquid syrup in an aluminum shell and wrap it in a little Saran wrap as if it were? However, they were smart enough to put the apple butter in a sealed container. Instead of me visiting the event, I got the pleasure of taking our car to get it detailed on the inside to get rid of the super sticky mess in our carpet. To give the advantage of doubt, we reached the restaurant and we were told there is nothing they can do except to give us a discount on a future order. Hello! You think we want to come back to your restaurant after they have their packaging that causes a super sticky mess and provide bad customer service for their mistake? It costs time and money to clean the inside. I can't recommend that. Admittedly, her food was good, but not worth the huge sticky mess, headache and time. Do you see pictures of detail? Edit: Modified from 1 to 4 stars on 11/29/2022. The owner reached part of the detailed work. Hopefully they will have a better spill-proof container for syrup to prevent another problem.

I just stopped for brunch. It was about a 25-minute waiting time that was no problem, the hardware store was a great place to wait. James was our server super attentive and friendly! He was fast and the food was served in time. Great brunch! Thank you, James!

I love this place! We stayed in Charlotte for a few days and tried another breakfast place every morning. That was my Fav! Food and service was exceptional. I had the grotto dish (the best grottos I had in a long time), and my wife had the breakfast tacos that she wouldn't stop talking about. Very good portion sizes. Place looks small from outside, but as soon as you are in, the place is quite long.

Shout out to Carolyn M. I sat at the bar she made my drinks and my experience above and beyond extravagant! I been in North Carolina for almost a year and I 've been searching for the unexpectedly elusive Southern Biscuits and Gravy I definitely found it here! Grits are cheesy and delicious! I got a hot toddy with English breakfast. There 's no better way to spend the morning than at Flying Biscuit. I hope I get to come one more time before I go home ? If for no other reason but to see Carolyn M. One more time! That woman is definitely one of God 's gift to Earth!
