Fat Cat Burgers Bakeshop - Charlotte

My boyfriend, who loves meat, really enjoys this restaurant. We have taken all of our friends and family members who have visited here, and no one has ever been disappointed! The vegan options, such as cauliflower wings and the impossible burger, are delicious. They also sometimes have vegan treats, but you have to inquire about them. The owner is always present, and it is evident that she and her staff have put a lot of effort into the restaurant, which makes you want to support it even more.

Fat Cat Burgers and Bakehouse is a hidden gem. They offer a variety of sweet treats that change daily, so don't get too attached to any one item! My personal favorite are the donuts with crushed peanuts, which have the perfect combination of sweetness and saltiness. The buns for their burgers are freshly baked daily, and they also have a customizable sandwich menu. In addition, their salads are delicious – you always feel the need to order one when you visit. And of course, don't forget to grab a box of donuts for the perfect balance of indulgence.

The service at this restaurant was excellent, and the staff were very helpful in recommending menu items for our first visit. I couldn't resist trying the Fat Franny Donut burger, which was surprisingly not too sweet - exactly how I like it. Definitely worth a try! The bacon-wrapped tatertots were delicious, as were the warm, soft pretzels dipped in beer cheese sauce. The Brussel sprout cheese dip was a pleasant surprise, especially since I usually don't like Brussel sprouts. The donuts were incredibly fresh as well. I'm already getting hungry again just thinking about it!

The service at the restaurant was friendly and pleasant. The food was decent, but unfortunately, the pretzel bun for my cheeseburger was old and stale. The portions of French fries and bacon-wrapped tater tots were good. The bakery section was nice, with the smell of fresh dough and sugar when you walk in. However, the desserts were sitting out in the open on the bar without any cover or case near the door. Despite these flaws, I will give it another try as it seems like a cool place to hang out with shops and other activities nearby.

First of all, this restaurant is much larger that it appears from outside! And it?s in the same plaza as Tuesday Mornings and RuSan?s sushi! But I digress. As you enter you are warmly greeted by pastries on your left, and the owner from the front!! Sheis the sweetest person, who?s built this place and it?s following with her own hands! I hear she?s there every day, all day!Still bakes everything, but to what level of involvement I?m unsure. What I know is everything is scratch (okay maybe notketchup and mustard! , so she?s involved, and her love is expressed in the tastes! Believe me, just just go! Don?t even botherreading the rest! But if you?re still here, the bacon wrapped tots and jalapeño sweet potato tots, drizzled with some sort ofsyrupy goodness are very crispy, and decadent! Each appetizer comes with 6, 3 on each skewer sticking out of a sundae glasslooking fine in the center of our table. They were demolished in seconds, and our sandwich orders came just as we finished theapps! Service is fast, but thorough. Each of us had different burgers, and each looked delicious, reported as delicious, andoverflowing with their specialty toppings. I chose basil mayo, caramelized balsamic onions and blue cheese, and the blue meltedinto the mayo creating a rich sauce so good, I swiped up every drop that dripped! We all agreed this is THE BEST BURGER INCHARLOTTE! We?ve had so many around town, hands down the beef is second to none! Oh, and the pastries? Did I mention they havepastries? The box wouldn?t even close on mine! So fresh, so moist! Wish I?d taken photos of the rest of the food but honestlywe?d been waiting a month to show up here (well, one of us had been coming more than once a week! And they know her now! Lol ,and we knew what we wanted and couldn?t wait to taste it all! I?ll be back! Worth the trip, from wherever you are!
