Emmy Squared Pizza: South End Charlotte, North Carolina

It was my first time here. I hate to give it three stars, I wish I could give it three and a half. Unfortunately our pizzas took over 45 minutes to come out. There was no explanation or apologies. When we got our pizza The dough was still kind of raw in the middle of our pizzas. I'm not sure if that's how it's supposed to be or if there was a problem in the kitchen and they were just pushing them out too quickly. Also there wasn't really enough sauce for me. I'm not a big fan of the sauce on top instead of in the middle of the dough and cheese. Overall compared to other pizza places I feel like the pizza is kind of overpriced for the size you get. Our server was great, the atmosphere was nice but unfortunately I didn't care for their pizza. This is just my own opinion of the pizza, I know it's a popular place.

Such a small portion for the price. A pizza “may” serve 2 people. $20+ per pizza. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Great location, toppings on the pizza would be a 5/5; however, the pizza was undercooked and when asked if they could cook it longer, they said they couldn't because of germs…. Tasted like a half-baked digiorno with great toppings.

So happy to see vegan/dairy-free options at Emmy Squared! I had the Artie Bucco pizza and it was one of the best vegan pizzas I've had in Charlotte. (Also saw there were GF options!

Don’t come here for the pizza. It was extremely bland and not good. Would rather have dominos/papa John’s. The chicken topping on it was like chicken from subway. Extremely processed and not fresh at all.
