I had the bubble cocktail that obviously was super fun, but also delicious! we also made a charcuterie board that was phenomenal! I can't wait until the weather is warmer and we can dive more terrace! highly recommended!
The place looks great and the staff was good, but I had some problems on my side. the music was sneaky and quite loud, but the problem I really had was my pork a lot over. it looked great and the sauce was great, but I had to take some water with everyone to get it down. it was for 1.5x the time it should have been. it was really dry. the truffle friars were amazing and drinks were great. the girl loved her to eat so that I suspect that my was left unattended for too long. I have to try again.
Platz has a nice mood, but much overpriced for what they get. second time there at this weekend (friends did not choose me and eating is ok, but not the wow for the price. I got the hanger steak both paintings and while good it is 36$ for the small plate where others I put a normal size filet for about the same or a little more can get and dressing iron is not such an expensive piece of meat. also ordered it medium and told the waiter to make sure that there was no less than medium and it rarely came to med rare. the best I had here were the pommes. all in order, but very expensive for what they get. at a lower price point I could recommend. prepare for over $100 for drinks and small tellers and let them starve!
The wine/drink selection is pretty extensive. The food was also pretty good, nothing extra great. I would recommend eating inside, the patio is super compact with tables way to close together you feel part of the next tables conversation.
My wife and I came here on a busy Saturday night, without a reservation, and were seated immediately at a small table next to the bar. We were greeted promptly by our server Gethan and he talked us through the menus as it was our first time. We ordered a glass of wine and a cocktail. They were out of the wine we chose but one of the managers came over, apologized, and helped us select an alternative.We started with the Grilled Octopus and the Prosciutto and Brie Flatbread. Both dishes were very delicious and full of flavor. The octopus was cooked perfectly and the flatbread was crispy and had a great balance of sweet and salty. We followed up with an order of their Truffle Fries and Crispy Pork Belly. The fries were crispy and well seasoned and the pork belly was tender and everything a pork belly dish should be.Our table was very well attended to by our server and the managers. We also loved the decor of the restaurant and ambiance created by the lighting and music. Our overall experience was exceptional from start to finish. We will definitely be back for another date night very soon after having such a great first time experience.
