I thought the food was ok. Crab rangoon is one of my favorite appetizers but their style I didn't care for. I have had way better sushi at other restaurants. It wasn't bad but wasn't anything special. The only thing I really liked was the pork belly buns. Probably won't be returning.Food: 3/5

We came for happy hour!! It was awesome and quick! Definitely recommend the spicy crab Rangoon, we ordered those 3xs loved the California roll and the edamame as well!Vegetarian options: Whatever you need just ask

I have visited this restaurant several times over the past few years, and each time has been more disappointing than the last. The service is terrible, prices are high, and the only saving grace is the good food. However, I cannot justify paying $73 for such poor service. We even had to involve the manager during our visit. I will not be returning and I recommend others not to waste their time or money here. Charlotte has plenty of other options to choose from.

We ordered a variety of small plates. The edamame was steamed and salted perfectly. The pork and ginger gyoza were delicious. The crispy tuna was good, but could have had more tuna. Unfortunately, the mango summer rolls we ordered never arrived. The spicy tuna crunch roll was quite tasty. For dessert, we had strawberry spring rolls with Nutella, which was a delicious combination. The GEKKEIKAN ZIPANG sake we had was also fantastic. Overall, I'm glad that our experience was much better this time around. I will definitely be returning to this neighborhood spot.
