Don't pay any attention to the one-star reviews or the comments about the woman being rude. She's fantastic as long as you treat her with respect. Businesses have every right to respond if customers are rude to their staff. The food here is outstanding—definitely try the shrimp fried rice!
Usually a 10 minute wait for your food so if you dont want to wait call ahead. They usually have plenty of menus that you can take home with you at the only counter in there. I really like their Egg Foo Young, boneless spareribs, and wings. I don't like peas and carrots in my fried rice so I don't like their fried rice. Its a small carry out with only 1 table inside. Customer service is ok.
I ordered the chicken wings and the shrimp egg pho, and both were particularly good—definitely the best we've found on the north side of Charlotte. I'd rate it a 4.5, but the spring rolls weren't very crispy, and the rice in the shrimp fried rice was a bit dry. However, the shrimp seemed well-marinated and was enjoyable in both dishes.
Listen, I completely agree with everyone's comment about the lady who works behind the register. She can be rude and yes, customer service is everything when you spend money that you work for. I get it. Ive turned down businesses in the past. However, I can not find another chinese spot that serves these chicken wings. These guys have the same chicken connect as the ones in NJ/NY. When that hot sauce touches the chicken, and you bite in the wings, the ladies attitude vanishes. Pork lo mein and pork egg foo young are delicious as well. Pictured here is the chicken wings w/pork fried rice which runs around $8.
