Celona Wine - Charlotte

Such a fun vibe as soon as you walk it. From the outside you wouldn’t realize how spacious the interior is. They have a great outdoor patio as well. My friend and I sat near the bar and we got served and taken care of immediately. I appreciated the attentiveness of the staff as well as the manager. The sangria we had was really good and perfect for lunch. There’s selection of tapas was very complete and had a little bit of something for everyone. The muscles and broccolini were some of our favorite dishes as well as the empanadas. I will happily come back to sample even more of their menu. Also the route to the bathroom in the bathroom waiting area is one of the most beautiful areas I’ve seen. That alone was worth checking this place out.

What a lovely experience. The bar tender was the best in Charlotte. The food was exceptional. The decor was top notch. I will be back. And when I do, I'll order the olives and the croquettes. And I'll get 7 glasses of the sangria because whether it is red or white; it is delicious, not too sweet, and apparently full of fruit infused rum.

Enchanting place. First I have to mention the great service of the two bartenders. . Second the clients. They made an amazing ambience. Than the quality of the food. We ordered a dozen of tapas and one paella. Everything was delicious. No more words. The place is fantastic and the vibe is exciting. Are you in Charlotte? Please take your time and enjoy Barcelona. Came here for my dad’s birthday and had such a fun time! Everyone was so friendly and food was amazing. Sangria was pretty tasty and I can say the paella tasted like the one I had when I went to Spain!

Barcelona was a pick for us to try something new in Charlotte around our neighborhood, the thought of tapas like we’ve had in Spain seemed too good to be true and oh my, we were pleasantly taken by surprise by the experience. We were greeted by a young man named Von Smith, attentive, brilliantly well informed on the cuisine and wine selection, and a personality and charm that’s simply unparalleled. My husband and I loved our server as well, her name was Madison and was graciously inviting and well trained in her craft, just amazing! We are definitely returning for the fare, but more than anything thanks to the experience Von provided for us. Thank you for the detailed attentions and the delectable olive cake. Simply wow, you’re a star and the restaurant is now among our top places to dine in Charlotte.
