Arooji's Wine Room Ballantyne

The food was good, I go to Italian dish in a new place is always spaghetti and meatballs... if they can't get that, I never go back. The meatballs were obviously housed, they were good. I also tasted the Rigatoni blog, and the Artichoke salad was also good. The atmosphere was dry, it was a low energy atmosphere. I wasn't sure who they were trying... it felt a shame because the food was so good or better than other Italian restaurants in the city. If you want a good meal in a quiet place, this is your place.

The Pesto Gnocchi was amazing! The wine was DELICIOUS!! You have a great selection!! Next time I am in Charlotte!!!

We visited this restaurant for the first time tonight because we had a restaurant.com certificate. I thought we would try because we love wine and we love good Italian. We were informed after arrival by our waiter in consultation with the owner that they no longer accept Restaurant.com certificates. A little disappointed - they did what they could do to make it right. Now for dinner. We started with Caesar salads and then decided on the Pasta Vodka and the Bolognese. Let me just say - the flavors brought me back directly to our vacation in Umbria, Italy. The quality, wealth and aromas were with the best food we had in Italy. Hats to the chefs. We found our new favorite Italian place. Great wines, not excessively generous, but also great wines. A wonderful evening.

This was our first time at Arooji's Wine room and for a Saturday night it was surprisingly empty but honestly, we didn't mind since it added to the intimate feel which we do enjoy. We ordered a few different appetizers and entrees and compared to other Italian restaurants in the Charlotte area we feel the food underwhelmed, we are not saying that it was not good just giving our honest opinion as compared to other restaurants. The service by the staff was top notch and there was never an empty glass of water, wine or dirty dish on the table. Their attentiveness to every detail should be applauded and this added to our lovely evening at Arooji's.

Professional servers. Angel will take care of you! We love this place because it reminds us of an Italian restaurant my husband proposed in. Love this place for date night. Very cozy decor and lots of yummy wines! I had the eggplant parmesan.
