1900 Mexican Grill Elizabeth Avenue

First timer to 1900 Mexican Grill with 2 friends we thoroughly enjoyed the service and especially the food. This Charlotte/Elizabeth gem is excelente! Great bar too!

We were excited to try this place but we were severely let down. The ACP is literally shredded chicken with melted shredded cheese on it.. the fried chicken tacos were over fried and difficult to chew/break apart.. my burger was fresh, but lacked overall flavor. I would not return. The only thing saving this review was the drinks.. they were a 10/10.

Food and service very average. Good value. Will not return. Could be lively bar scene.

Poor service, 15 mins after ordering drinks, had to ask server about status of drinks. Food was barely warm when served. Server seemed uninterested in waiting on us. Two large and loud parties in the restaurant. Overall poor experience.

6 of the 7 had good meals. One person specifically asked about spices in any part of the menu item being selected because that they have an autoimmune disease not permitting them to eat any spicy food. The server indicated that there were no spices in the item being ordered, but the dish proved to be inedible.
