The Waverly Restaurant Bar

We had the BEST time at the Waverly! It was our 28th anniversary! The food, drinks, view waiter made it perfect! (Paige) We will try to make it back for our 30th!?

Fantastic job to the entire staff! Our party of 6 had the best experience at The Waverly. The place was very busy, but the friendly hostess seated us promptly with a beautiful gulf view. Leslie was top notch in her service and had all of our drinks delivered in a flash. Not to mention an awesome surprise with a sparkler dessert for my sister’s birthday! On her recommendation, I tried the smoked old fashioned and she was not wrong! Shout out to the bartender Hunter for one of the best old fashioned I’ve ever had. Most of our party had the prime rib while one of our friends had their “3 course for $30 meal” everything was excellent with great portions. 10/10 would recommend!

Prime Steak House is much better. I thought it was OK...

Warning Warning Warning Here's what you need to know. I was just there last night had three glasses of wine. As I left waitress went to a unmarked sheriff car in parking lot told him I had three glasses of wine and he followed me all the way home hoping I would make some kind of mistake. Never go to Waverly's I didn't even want a third glass of wine The girl talked me into it.. Maybe she gets a commission or maybe it's her boyfriend All I can tell you is that's wrong totally wrong. Tell all your friends.

I called five days before our reservation and told them that we’re meeting all of our family there for an after wedding dinner. I don’t know if the server was new or inexperienced, but he spent more time watching the Olympics and caring about the paying customers. Food had to be sent back, we had to ask for spoons for ice cream four separate times like it was a state secret. And the food was just OK. I spoke to a woman who said she was a manager. Here’s a tip, don’t throw your people under the bus. They are only as good as their supervisor and don’t make excuses. A customer never wants to hear your excuses. This was the only time that we’ve eaten there and now we have no reason to ever go back.
