Esperance Is Open Tues-sat 10-6

Pram and his wife, Susan, are amazing! The pre-fix dinners they host in the summer are a real treat.

Dinner was incredible, including the service, and the shop itself is always fantastic. Esperance is always a highlight of visiting Charlevoix.

Lovely gourmet food and wine shop and cafe. The cafe has wonderful food and service in a nice outside space, but does have limited availability. The shop has a good selection of wines, yummy cheeses, and a variety of other specialty foods (andchocolates). Highly recommend!

I can't say anything bad about this place. We drove by it, turned around and went back just to check it out and the owner let us in even though they weren't really open. He warned us he had a private client coming in and asked us NOT to touch anything. Thatis PERFECT in my book. BE SAFE! We only had a few minutes but WOW great selection of French Champagne and Wine. We grabbed aquick bottle of French Bordeaux and some awesome Blue Cheese (also from France) and left. I'm glad and sad I don't live closerto this place.

I stopped in for the wine, but return regularly for the dinner. This is one of the most memorable and enjoyable meals you will have. Pram is an amazing host, and will help you select your bottles prior to arrival, which is nice when we start with a whitevariety. The top restaurant in Northern Michigan, period! Wish they were located in Cincinnati!
