Zia Taqueria - Charleston

Now, onto the tacos! If Tacobell can sell millions and still be underwhelming, Zia could easily keep up with demand if everyone knew just how good their tacos are. The barbacoa and Baja fish tacos were phenomenal. My wife really enjoyed her portabella mushroom taco, which was also incredible. Seriously, you need to go try their tacos and tequila. It's the perfect spot in Charleston or the mountains. Don't bother wasting time anywhere else. Keep up the fantastic work, Zia!

The service was excellent and the food arrived quickly. I really enjoyed the salsa, though I've had better elsewhere. The Mexican rice was bland, and even the items labeled as spicy didn't have much heat. Overall, I spent about 18 dollars for two tacos, a side of rice, and one beer, which was a great deal considering the price and service. However, I can only give it one star for taste, as nothing really stood out.

The most authentic of all restaurants. From food to drinks to a family-friendly environment. I definitely recommend my followers to try it. The recipes are complicated and the staff is amazing. I'd give 10 stars if I could. The owner Kevin Grant is a very talented boss along with the team of kitchens he has amazingly surrounded his business with. All the food is fresh and in my opinion there is no restaurant nearby.

Loves the new location, much bigger and easier access from Maybank Hwy. Your service is really friendly, you can say that they appreciate that you are there. 3 different people took care of me and were very attentive. Food was great, great selection! Can't wait to come back and try her margaritas! Thanks for a wonderful lunch.

I was that guy that came in 10 minutes before closing sorry staff) and I was fully expecting the food to rushed and over/under cooked. I was so wrong. The guy at the front and the bartender were very nice and treated me the same as you would someone that comes in, in the middle of the day. And the food was fantastic. The asada in my quesadilla was tender and flavorful. Definitely recommend.
