There were two sweet girls that were working tonight and one's name is t i m b e r l y and she's cute as a button. I ordered my usual Sprite zero. She was very very friendly and so was another young lady who came to the window and it tears me up to see young ladies who are working hard and they make a difference in guest services. The staff were clean. The restaurant and the parking lot were clean. Unfortunately, the drive-thru has another lane that people will try to zoom by you I highly recommend this particular Wendy's because they are always fast and accurate, and they have the friendliest people that you can find in southern West Virginia. ??? Ms. Joy Rose ? approves!
It's Wendy's. Ain't 3 stars cause this Wendy's is worse than other Wendy's. 3 stars cause it's Wendy's. Still better than McDonald's. These days you can get Bob Evans or Applebees or carry out at any restaurant for a couple bucks more than a Wendy's meal if you ain't in a hurry. Fast food is overpriced these days for what you get. Plan out your meal if you can and get much better quality food for near the same price.
Mobile orders aren't good here as others say so be mindful of that \nService is hit or miss and where my son loves the nuggets exclusively , the bad service can be frustrating for me \nI have had great people in the drive thru more often than not honestly and then there is one female who is a bit abrasive and a wow in bad service for spite when she works the windows \nShe gave us the wrong sauce for nuggets for a kid on purpose. My neurodivergent son only eats BBQ sauce from there specificly with the nuggets \n nShe handed us hot honey on purpose while he was saying *please i cant eat the nuggets without it \nI tried to hand it back to her thinking it was a simple mistake but then she refused to take it back letting it drop to the ground and said they were out of BBQ sauce too bad and now I'm littering. Kinda stunned me and I did remark back not too nicely myself at that point as he would have had a meltdown if he accidently tasted that spicy sauce \n nWhy not just tell us that you were out ? I ask when ordering every time. She saw him and she seemed a bit drama driven herself making remarks to customers on her headset while we waited before giving us hot honey sauce. She never once said they were out until this point. Fast food can be a maddening experience \n nHope she will go and find a better suited job as she hated that one and people as well. She seemed closer to middle aged brownish, dirty blonde duller hair and a bit plus sized. She def didn't like kids or me after I mouthed off when she did this. Not my finest moment but most of the time this isn't the issue. It's simply they are over worked and under paid trying their best. Now this one example is the exception to that, sigh.
Order was fresh and hot. Had the sweet heat chicken sandwich. Ohh so good.
Eating at Wendy's is always enjoyable. However, the bathrooms at this particular location were not clean, both the women's and men's bathrooms. I had trusted Wendy's as a safe place to eat and use the restroom while traveling with my young child. Unfortunately, I had to stop using the bathroom due to its condition. Additionally, when I went to get condiments and drinks, there were gnats and flies swarming around. Despite these issues, the staff was very friendly and professional, and the food was still delicious.
