The Griffon Pub - Charleston

I visited The Griffon on a spontaneous decision after checking out the Pineapple Fountain. Customers leaving gave it positive reviews, mentioning the food was good and served quickly, plus they highly recommended the fried pickles. I can see why we would recommend The Griffon as well! When we entered the cozy pub, it was lively but not too packed, even for a Tuesday at 1:30 PM. We were intrigued by the countless dollar bills adorning the walls—there were even some covering the deer head! As for the fried pickles, they were served as spears rather than the chips we usually prefer, but they were surprisingly delicious!

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant during our trip to Charleston, SC! The food was amazing! We loved the decor and the atmosphere—it was really fun! It was a fantastic experience for our family.

A fantastic bar! It was my first time visiting, and I had an amazing experience. Although it was quite busy, I never felt neglected. The money wallpaper is quite unique. They serve great drinks and delicious food.

Overheard a carriage tour guide touting The Griffon so decided to check it out. Great food and atmosphere! Staff was super friendly and helpful. We tried fried pickles and the fish and chips and were more than satisfied with everything. Wonderful place!

It was a pleasant experience. The fried chicken sandwich was good. Really loved the interior decoration and overall atmosphere of the place. Did not have any drinks just the dinner. But I bet it will be a fun place to have a couple of beers on a sultry Charleston day. And the neighborhood is quite beautiful as well.
