I have placed an order by the app anyway to check if that was true. my drinks were ready within 10 minutes. moral of history, place order by the app or they will not take their order personally.
I've been in a Starbucks once at the Town Center Mall about 15+ years ago. I bought one bottled water which was WAY overpriced but I was very parched. Every time I go past the new Starbucks on the Boulevard the cars are lined up clear out of the parking lot sometimes into the street. Clearly atleast a 30-45 min wait before you can even speak your order into to that immutable black box. It always makes me laugh smh in wonder...all for coffee? It's JUST COFFEE folks!!
Update: I was recently going through old reviews and saw this one below and felt it needed an update. This Starbucks has made fine great improvements since it's early days and now it appears to be running smoothly and efficiently. It is now a place that we mobile order at weekly and have not had any issues with in at least a year or more. Kudos to the management that got this Starbucks up to par with what's expected when visiting a Starbucks. I even had to wait extra long one day for my drink and the barista offered me a free drink card, which I wasn't expecting. I thought that was a nice touch. Anyways felt this review needed an updateThis is the worst Starbucks I've been to. I have been here three times. The first time was shortly after they opened and it took over a half hour to get my drink, after ordering. I figured whatever it's new it'll work itself out. The next time was slow but better. This last time tonight was the worst of any Starbucks ever. The guy taking the orders was clearly new and told us we couldn't get a decaf coffee because they were cleaning the machine so I asked him to do a pour over decaf to which he had no idea what u was talking about. After finally talking to someone else that should have been there training him I was able to put my order in. My friends with me we're also given excuses for why their drinks couldn't be made (The coffee machine is being cleaned for a regular coffee, or there's no salt for the salted caramel frappucino) After about 10 mins all five of us finally got our orders in. 4 coffees and a frappucino. 10 mins later they bring me and my husband our decaf coffees but mine was still missing the sf vanilla I had asked for. After fixing it I went to go get my own sleeve and of course, they were out. I went to go get cream and that too was out. Upon asking for more cream the employee took the carafe and instead of filling it, sat it on the counter. It was only after another employee asked me what I needed did me and another lady remind them we were waiting on the creamer. When he finally brought the creamer it was overflowing and spilling on the counter. So then we're still waiting for him to clean up the now mess. Will never recommend this Starbucks to anyone. This is coming from a former Starbucks employee and a regular Starbucks customer.. Make the trip to South ridge instead.
Takes FOREVER. even when no one is there. ive been waiting for one small pink drink for 20 minutes. everyone complains about the waits. just copycat the recipes at home. not worth it.
Fast,friendly and jacked up on coffee.. these guys get you going.
