Metro Diner - Charleston

Great local diner feel and the food is good! Dawn, our server, made our experience wonderful. She was very kind and accommodating. I am a picky eater and she didn’t make me feel bad about it. We’ll definitely be back!

This must be a very popular place since it was jammed and we had a 30 minute wait at 11am. The food, service and atmosphere were ok. I had the huevos rancheros. It was good but nothing like huevos rancheros that I have had many times before in other restaurants. Reasonably priced. I would return and give it another try next time I am in the Charleston area.

I stumbled on Metro Diner while running some errands and I’m so glad I did. I took a seat at the counter and had a bird’s eye view of the kitchen at work. The cooks were organized, efficient and moved around the grill and kitchen with ease. My breakfast consisted of a veggie omelet which was stuffed with an abundance of fresh veggies (asparagus, mushrooms, peppers, onions) and I loved the shredded hash browns which were perfectly cooked.
