Marina Variety Store - Charleston

We were there at the end of the night so that may have made a difference but the fries seemed to be under cooked according to my fellow diners.

9—2022. This is a great restaurant located by the marina. We recently ate breakfast and a dinner there. The low country hashbrown breakfast was delicious featuring hash browns topped with fried eggs and shrimp coated in hollandaise sauce. We eat here whenever possible and will be back in the future.

If you're looking for a casual Italian dining experience that won't break the bank, Marina Variety Store Restaurant is definitely worth checking out. The food is consistently good, and the prices are more than reasonable. My only complaint is that the restaurant can be a bit noisy, but that's to be expected at a place with a lively atmosphere like Marina Variety Store.

We carried out for breakfast and it was so good! The biscuits and gravy with fried chicken on top was my favorite. The gravy is very flavorful and the chicken was perfectly fried. Prices are extremely reasonable for the portions and everything was hot and fresh. We’ll be back!

Place was heavily recommended on Lowcountry eats on Facebook. Good advice. I had the seafood platter that was fried. Loved the seasoning in the battered crust. Plentiful servings. Friend had grits and shrimp. Equally delicious.
