Krispy Kreme - Charleston

Awesome when the hot now sign is on (usually at 7pm everyday). Four stars because the quality is not as good when the sign is not on and the staff isn’t always super friendly. However, the quality of the fresh fried donuts is unbeatable by any other chain.

What can I say, the “fresh” light was on and I gained 10 pounds:

I love Krispy Kreme doughnuts and grew up on them as a kid in Ohio. They had no creme sticks, no donut holes (even though they were running a special), the counter gal seemed so impatient (even though there were six employees and we were the only customers) and the tables were dirty.

Donuts “seem” smaller, maybe just me, but they were not fresh
