Ichiban Pan-asian Cuisine - Charleston

The sushi at this restaurant is quite good and reasonably priced. We tried the octopus "dumpling special," which was delicious but more reminiscent of boudin balls. I also ordered the Capital Roll and a combo roll with blue crab and shrimp. The sushi was a bit too heavily seasoned, which detracted from the overall taste. The restaurant has a pleasant layout, a welcoming atmosphere, and is conveniently located downtown. A funny surprise was the men's restroom, which could use some improvement in size. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience.

I have ordered takeout from this restaurant a few times, but recently I had the opportunity to dine in. Our server, Isabelle, was incredibly friendly and patient. She went out of her way to assist us and was especially attentive to our children. The food was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. I highly recommend this restaurant! My husband particularly enjoyed the ahi tuna, he mentioned it was one of the best he has ever had.

The staff at this restaurant is very friendly and provides excellent service. The menu is a bit limited in options outside of sushi dishes, but I enjoy sushi and found it to be quite good here.

My first visit had great service; however, overall freshness, quality, and flavor in food were lacking.

Ordered today for lunch everything was delicious. I will definitely be ordering from here again. I got my usually however, add salmon and it was the best. Thank you!
