Hannibal's Kitchen - Charleston

This has been our “Go To” place for casual comfort food when visiting Charleston! The staff are so very nice and welcoming! Their food is home cooked and reasonably priced! Loved all the dishes we've tried, but definitely order the crab rice!

Food was really, really good. We asked for a plate, and was told they don't have plates, which was strange and I ordered corn bread, but no one came back to tell me that they were out. But the food was totally delicious!!

I've heard about this spot for the longest time and finally got a chance to try it. I brought my mom here for her birthday and was really hoping the food was as good as all of the reviews. This restaurant lives up to the hype. The food was reminiscent of the meals I had growing up on Johns Island. Authentic Charleston cuisine at its finest. I will definitely be back for more.

Great food if you want local Southern style cooking. Ample seating, but most guests seemed to be ordering take-out (week night). VERY limited parking. Friendly waiter who was anxious to ensure we were pleased with our food. Appears to be very popular location for locals
