Gonzoburger - Charleston

The burger was fantastic, unfortunately he was a bit big and unhandy. So I ended most burgers with a fork and edible. I want more burgers to have flatter burgers that you can actually fit into your mouth. That said the taste was great and the pommes were absolutely fantastic! Super crispy but large so much potato on the inside. The bartender who was my waitress pointed me to other great places to check while I was in downtown. I really appreciated the heads over the Bourbon distillery and books and Brews!

Great restorer for a good burger. You can order some of their unique burgers and all kinds of appetizers including fried pickles. We had a Gonzoburger with cheese, salad, tomatoes, pickles and Gonzo sauce on a large bungalow. Comes with delicious slightly seasoned French fries. I changed from the Pommes to the best onion rings I had tasted for a long time. You have a full bar and craft beer. I tried to call a country boy. It was a semi-dark beer and very good....not hopsie at all with super taste. We went to lunch and found the waiting staff friendly and attentive. Many seats for each group or party. Dinner is also served here. We met the manager David Hayden who took care of things. We have some great recommendations from him for leaf observation in the area. Many parking spaces in front of the street (bring your neighborhood for the meters). You could stop here when you travel through town or Rt 64 or Rt 77 down. EZ off and EZ on. Good for a casual dinner. BTW: Two large screen TV 'S so you can see Marshall football. This day was when Marshall Notre Dame hit 26-21!!

Great discovery on the Charleston West Side! Amazing burgers and pommes and a super cool environment with a rich history. Love as they local art on the walls too. Definitely recommend!

Great culinary experience. My waitress was helpful and competent in offerings and selection of beer and menu. The bar is clean. Service was very good. Good selection of burgers and very happy with my meal, El Jefe, had no problems or worries. The Gonzo sauce liked Burger. A shame it wasn't Friday, because I automatically chose the fish?n?chips. For all those who rated low, would I have a Do over if you could? Thank you. Ladies, you did great work. Thank you, boss.

Ordered the Desperado and Blue Shroom burgers. Buns were not toasted and cold to the touch. Fries have good flavor but were not hot. Service was very slow, waited over an hour for these cold burgers. I want to like this place, I really do. This was my third and last time. Service is always slow, beer is not that cold and food is mediocre.
