Hubby and I decided to visit French Quarter for their “Limited Time, All you can eat Seafood Buffet for $60.00” which started today. I love seafood so I wouldn’t miss it for nothing. We arrived around 8:00pm and was nicely greeted by hostess Rebecca, who made us aware that dining was by reservation. The Ad didn’t state reservation needed, Rebecca was able to get us in at around 9:30pm. Everything was fresh and delicious Blacken Salmon, Oysters, Smoked Salmon, Prime Ribs, Salads, Variety of cheeses, Fried Chicken, roasted potatoes and a variety of Desserts. My mouth is still watering. French Quarter, you’ve won yourself another guests. My family and I will definitely be back. Out Servicer Jasmine was very attentive and polite.
I got dessert to go today, 1/14/24. The meal was good but the brownie was awful. It was hard as a rock and inedible. Waste of $10! Wondering if they gave me the week old brownie since I’d be at home eating it and not at the restaurant.
They do not honor their reservations. My husband and I went there for New Year's and our 8:30 reservation was ignored. We are well dressed and polite people, it was very intentional on the managers part.
I was not pleased with the table I was seated at I was not pleased when my meal finally arrived. They served a medium size steak, a medium sized baked potato, a miniscule serving of asparagus on a salad plate sized dish. (I looked around at other patrons seated near me to see if their service was the same . . . it was not. I can only guess this can be attributed to the single diner treatment protocol. (If you have the audacity to make a reservation for ONE [any where] you should expect a lousy table poor service. after my meal was brought to my table by someone other than my waitress, my waitress never bothered to stop at my table to see if I needed anything else until I was nearly finished. I was never offered the suggestion of a desert. on line the restaurant 's site states a dress code: business casual. Every time I have been to this restaurant (including tonight I have dressed above/beyond business casual. Tonight, like every other time I have dined here, I was thoroughly disappointed to see the number of patrons seated wearing not just jeans t shirts, but absolutely dirty jeans t shirts. At one point I was tempted to walk out prior to ordering when a female patron walked past me wearing leggings.
