Butcher Bee - Charleston

My first time getting dinner service here. Food was excellent. I had grouper with squash and brown butter sage sauce. Delicious! The pita and hummus is impressive — I’ve never had such fluffy hummus. Also tastes falafel and chicken kebab, also tasty. Service messed orders up a bit but they were very apologetic and accommodating. The setting is pretty casual, fitting for a meal with friends or family, less so for romantic occasions.

LOVE! The shakshuka is amazing! The atmosphere is wonderful as well. The outdoor seating area is wonderful. I would recommend splitting dishes so you can try a variety of things! **** Mary’s are great too.

Had the best dinner here! Did the chef’s choice per our server Jake’s recommendation. Literally everything was incredible. Even got to try an off the menu item- lions mane mushrooms and sunchoke. The mezze, dips, and proteins that were picked out for us were flavorful and integrated a fair amount of spice and heat. time here and we will definitely be back if we visit Nashville again. My friend and I came on a whim. I had been before but it was a while back. We arrived and it took a while for them to serve us but our waitress came and spoke to us and gave us “presents” as she said which were marvelous appetizers. I believe her name might have been Annie. The atmosphere is great and I have always enjoyed the whacky decorations. It’s very unique if you’re looking for a different kind of upscale dining. They were out of the item that I wanted to order, which wasn't that big of a deal. I ordered the chicken schnitzel sandwich and the meat was rubbery and disgusting and coated in Italian breadcrumbs. The sandwich was $18 and did not include a side.
