Bushido Japanese - Charleston

I used to enjoy this place, but something has changed. The male bartender with glasses lacks customer service skills and seems disinterested in his job. I've noticed that he often ignores customers in favor of chatting with only a few people at the bar. I always have to ask for my tab or another drink because he doesn't pay attention. The food is no longer authentic and tastes like it was frozen. It lacks flavor and has a rubbery texture. I used to crave the food here, but now I am sadly disappointed.

I went to this restaurant for takeout and was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. I arrived back on time but no one acknowledged me, and the staff in the front of the house acted as though I was invisible. After 45 minutes, they told me my order still wasn't ready. My wife and children had just arrived after a 20-hour flight to Charleston. It took over an hour and five minutes for my food to finally be prepared! I'm giving this restaurant 1 star because of the poor service from the staff and the long wait time.

Recently, my husband and I had a unique date night at Bushido. Despite not being sushi enthusiasts, we decided to give it a try and experience something different.

My friends and I enjoyed sharing this dish at the restaurant. The sushi was very fresh and well-prepared. There was a good variety of options to choose from, and I was particularly impressed by the quality of the sushi.
