Fantastic food. Wait staff gave recommendation aligned with what we were looking for.

Kicking myself for not trying this restaurant sooner. Walking in the door you’re immediately hit with the smell of the wood fired steaks and your mouth will water. We were early for our reservation, but were still able to be seated within 3 minutes of entering the building. Our server, Cary, was super accommodating and took the time to run through the menu with us and made some great recommendations. She recommended we try the Hot Rock appetizer, which is a 700 degree lava rock that you can sear your own steak bites on. The rock is heavily salted to give your steak a nice flavor. We tried all 3 of the dipping sauces that comes with the appetizer (horseradish sauce, house made steak sauce, and a bernaise) and we agreed the bernaise was the best! For entrees we got the 8oz wet aged filet and the 14 oz Australian wagyu strip. We tried 2 different steak presentations to be able to taste as many items as possible, and also added on sides of macaroni and cheese and their red corn grits. The steaks were beautifully seasoned and had a lovely char on them from the wood firing. Both steaks were so tender, moist, and delicious. The truffle mashed potatoes were to die for, so we ordered more to take home with us. The mac and cheese wasn’t as heavy as many you see in the south, with a light white cheddar sauce and topped with a nice portion of parmesan. We tried the old fashioned and the spring fever drinks on the menu and both were fantastic. We will definitely be back to try some more items and indulge in another incredible steak!
