I don't like goat cheese, but it wasn't exaggerated to supply the Pimento and Cheddar. My husband had the Betty Lou Burger and enjoyed him. You have a smaller hamburger for children. Our server was great. I would have given 5 stars, but the floor was very sticky!! We almost went for the ground. Hopefully the next time we go back, the floor will be in better shape. The food and service would be 5 stars.
Excellent! Scallops seared perfectly, hubby's burger on point and sister's fried pork chop was delicious! Chris was attentive and friendly... His sister, Kat, was awesome! Realized they also own Avondale Wine and cheese... Of course they do! Fine folk, relaxing atmosphere and great sense of humor- perfect dinner! Dessert... Yes, please!
This was my first time dinning at the restaurant. I was impressed a little. I got there around 11:32AM. The environment was clean. The female server was super friendly and professional. The food was tasty and hot. I will try them again at a different time to see if they are consistent. Thanks
It was outstanding. I had the mussels for starter and the sauce was so delicious. Then I had the seared mussels with the creamy mushroom risotto. It was delicious. The scallops were seared perfectly. Will definitely be back!
Stopped by for an early dinner. Avoided the deep-fried food but enjoyed our selections, including dinner-sized beet salad (especially good greens; generous amount of pecans), pork tenderloin sandwich on ciabatta, cream of mushroom soup (pleased that it had less salt than others do), and the exquisite almond cake dessert with chocolate ganache (great plate appeal; see photo). Very casual setting, menu on the wall, not a place for atmosphere, but good food and attentive service.
